After the longest hot, dry spell since forever, today some rain came down. We need it for the gardens and reservoirs, but I hope it didn’t rain on your parade and your day was good.
The clouds have cleared and there is a lovely sunset to end the day. I’m thinking of you with love and I’m hoping you’re happy and winning some good things.
Just to let you know, Grandad Rog is very old and poorly now. He sleeps a lot. Nanna Vicky is looking after him really well, so he’s comfortable at least and we get the odd smile now and again. Meanwhile, Maria is now nursing old folk, all grown up she is.
Oliver has won a Nottingham Trent Uni design competition for a garden building! The Uni are going to build it this autumn. Whoop whoop!
Edward has been working in London this summer. He did well, and returns to his studies in September. All is well. And we all think about you. You’re in our hearts.
